Declan Shalvey and Drew Moss, thanks for joining us on the AIPT Comics podcast! To start, the reception has been great for Thundercats, were you guys taken aback?
Tell us about your personal histories with this franchise!
How do you approach reworking or redesigning a classic character? (Love Tigra’s mustache!)
The first issue acts as a bit of a remix of the original pilot, but the ending takes a big swing. Now you’re introducing new characters! How did you decide on this approach?
What can fans look forward to with the introduction of Calica?
Are there any classic series characters we shouldn’t expect to see?
There seems to be a boom for 80s nostalgia with Thundercats, Transformers, etc, why do you think that is?
Now that you’re a few months into writing and drawing the series, do you have a favorite character, maybe one that surprises you?
