Ep. 29: The Certainty of Being Uncertain
Manage episode 319544838 series 2918882
Did you ever grow up thinking that because your parents were adults they knew everything and the exact reason they did the things they did? That every decision they made they were doing it because they were certain and had knowledge only an adult or parent would and at some point we would reach an age and magically that knowledge would arrive for us? But as time went on and you graduated H.S., went to college, tried to find a job, figure out a career, or even got married and had kids you realized you still felt completely unsure of if everythinG you were doing you were right; like how did your parents know because if you were honest you still felt like a clueless kid?
In this episode, we touch on the idea that the only thing we can really be certain of especially in the last 2 years is that nothing is certain and that with so many things uncertainty is the only thing we are certain of. We touch on the fact that sometimes being uncertain can put us in a place of being on the defense and what we can do to help ourselves when that happens and a fun question to ask provided once again by Blake and I's old pre-marital counselor. Regardless it will hopefully be a good time that encourages you and reminds you that I am so grateful you're here.
Can't wait for it!

Me
