Team Orcus is official Robotics team of VIT. Formed in 2015, the team currently consists of 17 active members and 10 advisors. The team builds bots for combat robotics, which one of the budding sports in India. This engineering sport, comprises of eliminating the bots, via attack mechanism. The team has achieved various fates in the sport, which include winning various competitions in VIT campus, as well as outside the campus. Some of them include, defeating the best combat robotics team, Lanka Bots, twice, during the recent achievement of acquiring runner up position at national level.
