This was a big episode. Scott and I talk about mold and the effect it can have on brains. I'll give you a hint, its not good.
We talk about what happens to brains from a chemical point of view when it is exposed to inflammation and what needs to be done to help recover.
There are a cascade of problems that occur from the increased permeability of your blood brain barrier making it easier for bad guys to cross over into your brain and start lighting fires. Unfortunately your brain has a system for controlling inflammation in the brain that is a bit like Bruce Bana. Ask him to get to work once, he stays Bana, ask him too many times and Bruce turns into the incredible hulk and starts breaking things (those things being your neurons, not good).
Fortunately there are some great supplements out there that can help calm the hulk back down to Bruce again and to help put out the fires that the mold or what ever is causing inflammatory reactions in you to started in the first place. The biggest key is to identify your inflammatory triggers and stay away from them for a long, long time.
Brain Inflammation May Be the Cause of Your Depression
Enjoy.
