In the sermons leading up to this message, we have been laying the groundwork for Paul’s examination of Justification by Faith in Chapter 4 of the Book of Romans. As we move on into this chapter, we find Paul using the example of Faithful Abraham to illustrate this Bible doctrine. In fact, Abraham is used many times throughout the New Testament to exemplify the life of faith. But what does it really mean to be “justified by faith”? The term “justification” is a legal term, which causes us to think of a courtroom. Join us today as we begin to see the context and the courtroom in which justification by faith applies.
