“Rise and shine. Let’s not be late.”
Nate is here at last.
“Eat up, Nate.”say Jane and Jake.
“Don’t make us late.”
“Don’t nag Nate,” says Mom.
Mom calls.
“Get in, Nate. Don’t lag. Don’t drag.”
Will they be late?
No, no, no.
They go, go, go.
Jane and Jake will race.
“You race, too,” Mom says to Nate.
Nate says, “No. I like to go slow.”
Mom says, “It will be fun.”
Nate will race, too.
“Get in line,” says Mr. Bun.
“Get set.”
“GO!”
Go, Nate! Nate runs. Nate zips.
Nate wins!
Nate likes to go slow- and fast.
