Erickson practiced law for six years; served as a campaign consultant for federal, state, and local races; ran RedState.com for a decade turning it into the most widely read center-right blog on Capitol Hill; ran for office and served as a city councilman; and served as a political contributor for both CNN and Fox. Erickson makes regular appearances on various CNN and Fox News programs, NBC’s Meet the Press, and HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. He is also a nationally syndicated columnist. Erick Erickson is a native of Louisiana, grew up in the United Arab Emirates, and currently lives in Macon, GA with his wife and children. He is a graduate of Mercer University and its Walter F. George School of Law. He is presently attending Reformed Theological Seminary working on a masters in theology.
