G'day and welcome to another episode of Yarns From the Paddock by AgForce Queensland.
On today's episode we chat to Jim Edwards is a senior environmental health officer with Queensland Health, specifically in the Environment Hazards Unit, which is a part of the Health Protection Branch in Queensland. Jims team is in charge of issuing approvals to landholders for the management of feral animal control.
I also chat to Bruce McLeish, the Area Manager (Wool) based at Elders Inglewood.He predominately runs marino sheep on his family’s property and today he shares with us the difficulties he faces in his area with wild dogs and management practise he’s put into place to combat the effect.
