Joan Jimenez a.k.a. Entes, is an Afro-Peruvian artist who’s been painting murals all around the world and in Wynwood for over 10 years.
He is considered to be one of the graffiti pioneers in South America. His artwork addresses local issues, in a vivid pictorial way.
In the second part of the podcast, I will have a conversation with Supermarket gallery’s director and curator, Maria Gabriela Di Giammarco about Joan Jimenez’s new body of work from his solo exhibition, “Migración de Jarana” at the gallery.
