In the summer of 2019, a nation-wide manhunt broke out in Western Canada, searching for Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky, two teenage boys who were on a killing spree. The murders were random and appeared to be crimes of opportunity, with no apparent motive or reason behind them. At one point, these two boys were even thought to be potential victims, declared missing - until the police realized that they were the killers, leaving three bodies in their wake.
