The term gospel means good news, but what does that mean for us? The bad news was that sinful man, that’s us, could not reconcile our souls with God through the Law of Moses, the old covenant, because we are sinful and cannot keep this covenant or please God no matter how hard we try. The good news is that Jesus, who paid the price for our sins, offers us a new covenant whereby, if we turn from our lives in this world to follow Him, He will lead and guide us into His kingdom.
