Presenting Gus, Utrecht Based Techno Producer & DJ , follow him on Soundcloud @gus_techno Virtual Underground : What things and people inspire you most ? Gus : When i started mixing my focus was mainly on the dark techno scene in cologne. Artists like In2AUX, Eugen Kunz, Robust, PRODX, Lukas Freudenberger, Cortechs and Steve Shadenwere examples for how i want my music to sound. The last years there has been kind of a shift in modern Techno. The Industrial sound is getting bigger and so is my taste more going the industrial way. Although i still love the Cologne's dark techno scene and still follow their progress i now get my inspiration from artists like WNDRLST, DYEN, Tyrant, Incident Prism and Nico Moreno. I'm still partying a lot aswell, this gives me inspiration about how i could mix tracks and what sound i like to make in my productions. This how i keep developing and renewing my skills.
