Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

Interview : Virtual Underground : How has this Atdlb story started? Atdlb : It all started when my friends and I founded a collective called La North in which we organize after-hours underground events in Montréal. I discovered the nightlife here and in Europe and completely fell in love with techno music. Virtual Underground : Where do you generally draw your inspiration from? Atdlb : My past experiences, travels, my entourage… Virtual Underground : Could you describe your music selection and mixing process? Atdlb : I like dark and melancholic sounds, I’m into pretty fast music at the moment so I try to dig in for never heard before tracks before doing a mix, but I pretty much go with the flow and play whatever song that touches my feelings.
