Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. We present our Monthly podcast "Mykonian Sessions" for the month of May 2019. For my May mix in the 1st hour, i am bringing you music by: Okain, Timothy Blake, Marquis Hawkes and more. For the 2nd hour mix ,It's my pleasure to present the guest of this month, my very talented friend desert!sh from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.. Nasser Alshemimry operates his recording studio as a passion project. A multi-intsrumental artist and producer who is always in pursuit of quality sound. Identifying with the limited Electronic Music scene in Saudi Arabia, Nasser calls him self DesertF!sh to represent his Saudi Arabian roots of the desert sands of Najd and west coast Hijaz region. Styles vary from uplifting aleatoric melodies to darker and sinister industrial vibes when producing Techno. With influences such as Brazilian artist Oliver Gattermayer as a mentor DesertF!sh was introduced into the electronic music world. By joining WVUM 90.5 FM the voice of University of Miami, Desertf!sh hosted The CrossFade. Through this journey he met Typ3 Records founders SpinnZinn and Luke Hunter. Having a mutual love for audio production and quality Techno DesertF!sh joined the Typ3 Records crew in an effort to collaborate with like minded artists and create sounds that take listeners on a cerebral journey.
