As we know lot of recent developments have taken place legally in Supreme Court to Law Ministry in many high profile cases which have made huge headlines in the media including social media as well. Further, in recent years Judiciary has faced lots of criticism and critical judgment from political parties, its supporters and general public too, again mostly on social media. So, to take a nuance view of the judiciary we again have with us Adv. Navroop Singh Ji in a freewheeling discussion regarding judiciary and its unique features in the Indian democracy. The chat also covers the standoff between the Executive and Judiciary, Accountability and reform issues in it, Basic Structure Doctrine and recent decisions/ observations of the Supreme Court on Delhi Services Case, Maharashtra Assembly case.
