From being born in Canada to being moved to Florida as a child with her father on a boat to getting a job with IBM and moving o Vermont, Cherie has been a true pioneer.She learned early on to turn her fear into excitement. During her time at IBM she turned her life around and was able to show confidence in a board room full of men.One day during her career she was given a challenge. How to improve the stapler. She tookher experience in being confident in herself, she came up with an idea on how to improve something that wasn’t broken. After this incident she became a part of the investors club and he idea was patented with IBM for the improved stapler.Cherie has always been a problem solver and a science head. This is shown through her work with IBM and later in life after contracting breast cancer. With her problem-solving skills she saw a problem with the clothing that was provided for breast cancer patients going through chemotherapy. Through her own experience with breast cancer she had created something that made her healing process better. From there she created the Heal in Comfort Shirt. This shirt is made with comfortable material and pockets made for the tubesand monitors. Many women have been blessed with this idea and her amazing love and care for others.
