Welcome back to Transactional Love♡. Wendi and Norma bring you a special two-part episode, stories that are near and dear to both of our hearts. Focused on our town, Benicia, California, we have a behind-the-scenes look into Porchfest Benicia 2024, presented by Benicia Magazine.
If you haven't been to a Porchfest, this special event is a local, grassroots live music festival that takes place on home porches, local businesses, and venues throughout the US. Porchfest Benicia, on September 21st, 2024, is a celebration of community and a testament to the power of music to bring us together. This music festival is unlike any other taking place on the porches of Benicia historic vintage homes. The curated live music also spills into our local businesses, driveways, parking lots, and the charming restaurants that line historic First Street, the heart of our community. This is a FREE event for all and VIP tickets are also available for an elevated culinary and wine + beer experience, as well as access to exclusive VIP lounges (see links below).
For this this Part 2 episode, we're taking the podcast on the road, sitting down with the The Ex Capitals Band, in their recording garage. On September 21st, they will be playing on the Mary Farmer School of Rock Stage.
