Waddup WORLD! Welcome back to The WORLDs iLLEST Podcast. Today I am back with Episode 2: Pimp City Feat. Tarris Horton/Troy. Inside this episode Troy and I cover his history starting with his first job in the music business managing a local group, making a dope theme song for the University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball during the “Comeback Cats” Era. Troy would later move to become a Master Barber with his own shop and an independent record label called Country Boy Entertainment. Troy picked up the hottest talent in Radcliff such as MJ, Grip, Babee G, Tank, Loc, and even a young Cam Dollaz along with producers Jon Woo and Beta Millz. Troy and the Artists on Country Boy would begin to create music which led to Radcliff’s Anthem “Pimp City”. We talk about how they ran the local entertainment scene by throwing parties and bringing acts like Get Down Click down to perform and more.

Troy would later leave the area and move to Covington, KY where he would attend Northern Kentucky University to seek a degree in Film/TV. After graduating Troy began to put his degree to use creating different television based shows out all while still creating music under that name DJ Fanny Pack. Oh and let’s not forget about the his slogan “The Most Interesting Man in the Commonwealth of Kentucky” running for office and much more so tap in now!
