This classic album, which was released on December 15, 1992, features a number of notable, but then unknown artists, including Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Warren G. In this episode, we will explore the making of The Chronic and its lasting impact on the world of hip-hop. We will also discuss how Dre's work with The World Class Wreckin' Cru and N.W.A. laid the foundation for the sound and style that he would perfect on The Chronic, and the role that the album played in the rise of West Coast hip-hop and the emergence of G-Funk.
