Amy adopts a dog, Sadie! She’s from Texas! You don’t like dogs? That’s a red flag! Long dog report here: Amy’s never had a girl dog before. Harrison is an at-home pooper. Amy’s taken this new dog everywhere: the office, dog park, indoor dog park, etc. People with Corgis really love Corgis. Maya talks SNL with Dave Chapelle and Black Star. She wants to know where Mos Def gets his tunics that look like they are borrowed from a whacky aunt. Fashion Report: Dystopian whacky aunt fashion is in right now. Dystopian tunics for everyone! Amy calls the Midterm elections Maya’s Super Bowl. Whacky Kornacki is back covering the election but his khakis have a weird bunching in the crotch area. Flash Back Concert Report: Maya’s brother-in-law Paul talks about seeing XTC and the Police at the Armory in Minneapolis in 1980! Also, Paul shares some of his favorite concerts including Devo. Maya reviews the Flaming Lips Bubble Concert movie. The ladies discuss Steven Spielberg’s autobiographical film The Fabelmans starring Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, and Crystal the 28-year-old capuchin monkey. Finally, Amy and Maya revisit and review the audio included on the golden record launched into space aboard the Voyager spacecraft in 1977.
