In this episode Nadia, Fran and Eugene are joined by Professor Claudia Bernard to have a conversation about her exciting new book titled 'Intersectionality in Social Work: A Practical Introduction to Theory and Practice'.
Intersectionality is a term coined by legal scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw. Crenshaw described Intersectionality as how systems of oppression overlap to create distinct experiences for people with multiple identity categories.
