On this week's episode of the Smart Marks of Wrestling podcast, we're talking a new WWE podcast network, NXT moving to USA Network plus reviews of Raw and SmackDown Live.

As most fans know, Raw and SmackDown saw a few first-round King of the Ring matchups, the continuation of the Sasha Banks storyline, new Raw Tag Team Champions were crowned and Daniel Bryan revealed Roman Reigns' attacker... sort of. Brandon and Jim break down the show plus cover tons of news and rumors in wrestling.

Show Notes

After a breakdown and review of the red and blue brand, the hosts jump into the news that NXT will be moving to USA Network starting in September. What does this mean for USA, for FOX and for the roster? There are rumored salary bumps and contracts, speculation FS1 might be looking for ways to replace the content they're losing by not getting NXT and more.

Does part of what Fox wants to do including CM Punk? It sounds like that story is out there.

We also jump into a conversation about WWE getting their own podcast network and what that might mean for stars in WWE. This is huge news is true and the details are sketchy but we chat who we'd like to see get a show, what it means for talent and what type of content WWE might pick up.
