Deep Kumar, Yoga Master and founder of Deep Yoga, is extensively trained in Iyengar, Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, Meditation, and Pranayama. He blends the ancient traditions of yoga, such as Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, with an in-depth understanding of contemporary sciences like anatomy, physiology, and psychology. He has travelled and trained yoga teachers extensively all over the world, firmly believing that Yoga is both art and science, and it is in understanding your body and mind that you find transformation.
In this episode, we explore the meaning of yoga and why it is needed now more than ever for the average person. We discuss how yoga can help on a physical, psychological, and intelligence level, as well as how the mind and body can manifest and store dis-ease when we repress our emotions. We then examine how yoga peels away the layers of our psyche, returning us back to our natural, blissful, state of being.
