In a lighter episode, we sat down with the guys from the Field of Screens pod to discuss the infamous FIFA propaganda film, United Passions. Recorded on the Monday of the ill fated SuperLeague attempt, we looked for some beauty in the story of a few men, who's only dream was that the whole world would play football by the same rules and regulations. Seriously.
We discussed what exactly they were trying to achieve with this project, how Tim Roth got Sepp Blatter's walk down and whether commercial deals are in fact the most exciting aspect of the beautiful game.
On this journey there were laughs aplenty along with a lot of pain as we tried to understand this ridiculous film.
