As globalization starts to break apart and the world becomes increasingly polarized, there are arguments both for and against banning Chinese nationals from purchasing homes in Canada and the United States. On the one hand, proponents of the ban argue that it would help protect the integrity of our countries' security and economy. On the other hand, opponents argue that this would unfairly discriminate against the Chinese people and that it would ultimately hurt our economy and damage our relationship with China. In this episode, we will explore both sides of this complex issue and try to come to a conclusion on whether or not a ban on Chinese nationals buying properties overseas is the right solution.
