When I first met Michael he had a very masculine take charge and very raw energy, coupled with a very open and deeply compassionate personality, something I was missing in my friendships as a man. I have been on a long journey and I have learned and seen many things, I consider myself my own greatest teacher, but after meeting Michael I saw that I was able to learn a lot from Michael. He stands in love differently to me, he stands in his masculinity without toxic masculinity and he is proud of that. Not many men open up to me because I challenge their own emotions of fear, and most men don’t like the idea of love or opening the heart, in my humble experience. I grew to really see a side of Michael that allowed me to create a friendship with him and we would share our violent history, as my journey was evolving, I was evolving, and when the idea of my podcast came up, he was the first man that came to my heart, and he said yes which I thought was very brave, so please join me in honouring Michael for his generous sacrifice today on this podcast. As a space holder, I make these men feel safe in their exposure to allow joy in their hearts, so I always do my best. It is an evolving journey for me, and as I am more and more relaxed I will be able to show what I am truly capable of, and as this podcast evolves, more men will be welcome to open their hearts.
