2024年2月28日起，台北市恢復YouBike前30分鐘免費。你會因為少收5元，而多使用公共自行車嗎？為此，市府每年新增1.5億補貼預算，只是這筆錢花下去，真能提升首都的城市綠運輸嗎？因新政增加的使用人數會不會讓無車可借／無位可還的問題加劇？
《報導者》數據記者透過資料爬梳，找出台北市租借量最大的區域與「缺車」尖峰時段，觀察政策前後的數據變化，並從YouBike調度員、交通學者的視角聽見公共自行車的使用現況與未來觀察重點。
