Episode 9 - If At First You Don't Succeed... Persistence After Failure with Shukura Clarke
Manage episode 349138719 series 3231197
Shukura Clarke is a passionate entrepreneur with big dreams and even more ideas. Last Summer, she created Issa Sisterhood, a podcast all about the black experience for women of color in Toronto. After completing her first season with her co-hosts, she decided to hit the pause button on the project --a decision that proved to be a very difficult one, and one that she labels as a "failure."
Host Elayna Christine and Shukura sit down to unpack what happened, and talk about how she's kept the entrepreneurial spirit alive despite her choice to pump the breaks on her latest endeavor.
