Thank you for all the love and support! The feedback and positivity I’ve been receiving for these episodes have been incredible. I hear you, I feel you! So I’ll be doing many more of these! In this episode we are focusing on your mental health and the benefits of therapy. Mental well-being doesn’t always have to be about therapy either but I want to talk about some of my experiences and some of the things I do to help keep my mental health in check. Like I said I’m no expert but these gems have helped me live a better life and have improved my mental health, no matter what obstacle I was facing in life. To keep things simple we’ll focus on these key topics: Key Points: 🥇 Putting YOU first: Above all your health & well-being should always come first. Same goes for your mental health. It isn’t always that easy though. Take it from me I know the pressures of being day to day life can be a lot. You could be running a business, being an entrepreneur, parent, in college or even all of these things at the same time! I talk about the importance of self care and some things I do to help me keep on top of my mental health game. 🥈The benefits of therapy: You might have a specific issue you’re dealing with, losing a loved one, going through a breakup or it could be just feeling the need to talk to someone outside of your circle. Therapy can help you and there’s all different types depending on what you’re dealing with. I discuss some of the different styles of therapy and how reaching out to someone outside of your circle can be beneficial. 🥉Mental Wealth: Listen, don’t subscribe to negative opinions about mental health or therapy. EVERYONE has an opinion, and rightfully so, it’s ok for them to express their opinions but when it comes down to it you got to be right with you! Don’t let anyones opinion stop you from seeking help if you feel you need it. I share some insights on how taking care of your mental health will ultimately be your mental wealth. Don’t forget to DIG in the catalog. I truly have enjoyed podcasting for over 12 years and my main objective has and always will be inspiring my audience & people all over the world. Internets, let me tell you, I use my failures to teach me. I don’t look at them as mistakes, I look at them as lessons and I turn them into blessings.
