She asked for help with depression, but instead of providing healing, this psychiatrist leads her down a path of deception and betrayal. Today I spoke with my good fried Melissa Forsythe a Nationally Certified Peer Support Specialist and Certified in Mental Health First Aid Outreach Worker for Oxford House, Inc., a nonprofit network of 3,200 (nationally) self-help recovery homes. She has been a woman in long-term recovery since December 2018 and has devoted herself full-time to expanding the network of Oxford Houses in the eastern part of the state, including some of North Carolina's most rural counties.
