In the inaugural episode of the One Fab Day Wedding Podcast, we travel back to the moment that kickstarted your wedding planning journey - the proposal! Or, more specifically, the early days of your engagement. This can be a tricky time, as well as an emotional one, with parents, pals and complete strangers weighing in on the kind of wedding day you allegedly should be having. With that in mind, we decided to tackle some of the burning questions of early engagement, including "What should I do if I don't like the ring!?" and "Are engagement parties still a thing?" We're even helping you identify potential pitfalls, for example, agreeing to invite all 62 of your cousins to your wedding while under the influence of celebratory Champagne!

Intro: We share a little bit of background about One Fab Day and what we're about.

Wedding tip: We spell out why credit cards are king in wedding shopping.

Main topic: So you're engaged. Now what?

Wedding dilemma: A reader writes, "I really want to walk up the aisle with my partner but when I told my Dad about our plans, he was really disappointed. Now I feel guilty, and I’m thinking of giving in." We offer some handy tips on alternative ways to including your Dad in your wedding day.
