Despite the Assembly only being back 2 weeks after an absence of 3 years
Your MLAs have been given a £1000 pay rise increasing their annual salary to £50,500.
They were due to receive the extra money over the past three years, but the increase was blocked by the former Secretary of State Karen Bradley because Stormont was suspended.
MLAs pay is set by an independent body. But do you agree with the pay rise?
Vinny heard from Political Correspondent Enda McClafferty, SDLP MLA Daniel McCrossan, Businessman Max Mackin and Independent MLA Jim Wells.
