It was just a dare. A fun game you wanted to play with your friends. They sent you the words, you read them out loud, and now…now you don’t feel so good. It might have been the thing itself, a twisted story about a young boy’s suffering. But it was just a dumb poem, there’s no way it was actually written by some kid (some victim) over 100 years ago, and all that stuff about a curse, that part definitely isn’t true…right?
