In this episode of the podcast, I share a talk I gave at the “Into the Desert” Lenten retreat for high schoolers at the church where I work full-time. The talk happened at the end of the first night of the retreat, immediately before we were going to enter into prayer and Eucharistic Adoration. I began by reading the Gospel from the 1st Sunday of Lent scriptures for mass, and then dove in my echoing the command of Jesus “Get away Satan”.
