There has been no shortage of great rock albums in the last 50 years. Five decades ago takes us back to 1973- quite possibly in the midst of the greatest diversity of sound in what would be considered "rock and roll." Queen, Skynyrd, and ZZ Top Released debut albums in 1973 while a couple of brothers whose last name was "Young" started a band of their own in Sydney, Australia. Rock got grittier, heavier.
