Next, Maria, Mike, and Beau continue the final hour of this Thursday edition of The Morning Shift by letting you hear Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Kirk Cousins talk about Jessie Bates and his relationship with Jessie Bates, going against reads sometimes to experiment with a receiver, keep a receiver involved, or to put a receiver up to bat to build his trust with them, and his favorite portions of practice being the unscripted two minute scrimmage portions. Maria, Mike, and Beau react to what Cousins had to say as well. Finally, to close out this Thursday edition of The Morning Shift, Maria, Mike and Beau continue to react to the Atlanta Braves winning their three game series against the Milwaukee Brewers after getting a 6-2 win over the Brewers yesterday thanks to Matt Olson and Travis d’Arnaud hitting back-to-back home runs twice, and Chris Sale having another good outing despite not having his best stuff yesterday. The Morning Shift crew also lets you hear Travis d’Arnaud talk about going back-to-back twice with Matt Olson yesterday, and react to what d’Arnaud had to say as well. Maria, Mike, and Beau also let you hear Alex Anthopoulos talk about why he traded for Jorge Soler, and brought him back to Atlanta.
