My guest this week was Leslie Spurlock. She is an incredibly talented photojournalist from Texas. She has been capturing stunning images around the world for almost three decades.
From the uprising in Haiti in 2004, living with the rebels, to covering the tropical storm Jeanne. She has been chasing and capturing the hearts of storms and their aftermaths, including Katrina, Rita, Harvey and more.
In 2020 she photographed 17 protests around the US, capturing some of the most astonishing photos that will become a part of history. Her creative portraits of are stunning works of art. She is a humanitarian to her core and nothing will stop her from helping people in need.
Her work has been published worldwide in publications including Wall Street Journal, Time, Mother Jones, NY Post, The Guardian, just to name a few.
