Welcome to the Maeve Ferguson Podcast, Episode 98! Can you believe we're just two episodes away from our 100th milestone? It's been an incredible journey, and I'm excited to share today's topic with you. In this episode, we'll be exploring four common misconceptions about selling evergreen coaching programs.

Misconception #1: Evergreen Delivery Isn't as Effective as Cohort Delivery

One of the common misconceptions is that delivering coaching content on evergreen won't be as effective as doing it in a cohort. Some believe that the sense of community and camaraderie is lost in evergreen programs. However, it all comes down to how you run your community. In our Evergreen Lifestyle Business Academy, we ensure that new members feel included through a robust onboarding process. We celebrate wins together, regardless of how long someone has been in the community. Sharing challenges vulnerably fosters a supportive environment, making evergreen just as effective for building connections as cohort programs.

Misconception #2: No Cart Close Means No Action

Contrary to belief, you don't need cart close deadlines to drive action. It's all about crafting a compelling offer with the right toolkit and bonuses. When you create a no-brainer offer, urgency becomes a natural part of the decision-making process. We also use expiring bonuses to encourage quick decisions. The key is to make your offer so appealing that people can't resist, even without a closing deadline.

Misconception #3: You Must Present Live for Weekly Workshops

Live workshops can be a powerful tool for engagement, but that doesn't mean you have to be there live every time. You can create a live experience by streaming your workshops and having your team answer questions in real-time. Live sessions often lead to higher attendance rates compared to pre-recorded content. So, while it's live, you don't have to present live every week, avoiding the exhaustion of constant live launches.

Misconception #4: You Can't Take a Break from Client Delivery in Evergreen

With evergreen enrollment, you can still take breaks from client delivery. Structuring your programs effectively is the key. One strategy is to have a team of coaches to share the load of weekly coaching calls. Alternatively, if you're a solo coach, plan your annual calendar with breaks and holidays in mind. If someone enrolls right before your scheduled vacation, let them know in advance and adjust their program's timeline accordingly.
