Tonight was another injustice to a great band... The Talking Heads ! We pretended to know many things, we did not. But we sure did play some cool tunes from STOP MAKING SENSE which was/is an iconic music concert movie. We forgot to say things like "this was very uniquely filmed" and "David Byrne's movements on stage were hypnotic" and stuff like that. We DID acknowledge the amazing music. Then we went off into the weeds (again) and discussed the Smiths, James, other bands and a variety of movies... so another potentially great show damaged by us actually talking to each other and having fun. Both of our listeners who are not related to us, told us this show was almost moderately interesting. Give it a listen and you be the judge. Thanks for being part of our adventure in music !
