Leaving behind Red Cat Cave the Broken Tusks now turn east towards a forgotten past and a new future. Through the map their ancestors left behind in Red Cat Cave, the Scouts have discovered the lost migration route of their people, the Ethgir, and must now lead the following into unknown lands to find haven from the Burning Mammoths in the mythical Lost Mammoth Valley.

HOUSE RULES

* Improved Hero Points When a hero point is used to re-roll a d20, a result of 1 to 10 has +10 added to it, guaranteeing that re-rolled d20 with a hero point will never be lower than an 11. A PC may choose to use either result.
* Improved Aid A PC may for One Action "Prepare" which enables them to use a Reaction in the upcoming round to Aid. At the time the Aid is given (the reaction is used), the PC will describe how they are assisting and choose which skill or attack they are using. No die roll is made to determine if the Aid is successful, or how much Aid bonus is given. Instead the Aid reaction is automatically successful and the recipient of the Aid will receive a circumstance bonus of +1, +2, +3 or +4 determined by the Proficiency level (Trained, Expert, Master, or Legendary) of the PC who is providing the Aid.

THE ADVENTURE

Quest for the Frozen Flame takes place in a remote and frozen land known as the Realm of the Mammoth Lords. An honorable, yet primitive, people dwell there formed into large clans known as "Followings" which nomadically live off the massive herds of megafauna that dwell within this ancient land, most notably the Mammoths. Prepare to embark on a great journey in which the actions of our heroes will not only decide the fate of their small outcast clan known as the Broken Tusks, but the entire future of the Realm!!
