Public safety vehicles, such as police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances, travel with a plethora of mission-critical equipment essential to emergency and non-emergency response situations. Vehicles carry everything from rugged computing technology to officers, civilians, and other cargo-related items.
Choosing the correct mounting and docking solutions is just as important as choosing the right computing equipment. Especially during a high-speed pursuit, a mobile computing device can quickly become a dangerous projectile if not correctly mounted.
With the International Association of Chiefs of Police Show (IACP) in Dallas just a few days away, I thought it made sense to discuss the role that docking solutions play in the public sector.
