Ed Bernardon is the VP of Strategic Automotive Initiative's at Siemens. Gary and Ed talk about AI, Artificial intelligence and its application in the future of cars. The largest industrial manufacturing company in Europe, Siemens is a $77 Billion Dollar a year company. Ed holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from MIT… a BS Mechanical Engineering from Purdue and an MBA from Butler. He was the founding member of Vistagy, a company whose coolest application was building carbon fibre parts for formula one teams before being bought out by Siemens in 2011. The discussion also leads into the EV car debate, and what the future of transportation will look like. He is responsible for transportation and automotive thought leadership throughout the space and is the host of the Future Car podcast.
