We're in the video game world again this week as we explore the sleepy little town of Bright Falls and the dark presence that has taken it over. Can our hero fight back against the darkness and find his lost wife? Join me as we fall into the dark imagination of -- Alan Wake.
I will be examining the world and plot of Alan Wake this week, discussing cabins as horror settings, the interesting game mechanics of Alan Wake, episodic storytelling, and the influences the developers used to craft the world of Bright Falls, Washington including Twin Peaks and Stephen King.
