Patty is taking the lead here because Dwight is in a piss poor mood. Patty gives him permission to feel his feelings. OH! “Have-uh-land” has finally responded to Dwight’s upset about the four-star review. Perfection doesn’t exist, especially in the recording process. Patty strives for greatness knowing perfection doesn’t exist. Recording a part over and over again sucks and at some point a feeling is lost. If you don’t have it in the first four takes, take a break and come back to it. Perfect renditions aren’t interesting. Have y’all heard about this new woman super group called The High Women? We have some weird feelings about it. Learning cover songs for a long time is important for young song writers trying to find their own voice.
