In this episode, Brett and Laura continue their discussion on kid entrepreneurship and this time they have invited their own daughters as special guests. Brett and Laura interview Blakely and Brooklyn, who share their journey from starting a lemonade stand to establishing a jewelry business with products available in multiple stores. Our hosts guide us through their children's entrepreneurial experiences.

It all begins with a lemonade stand. Brett and Laura ask their daughters to reflect on the lessons they've learned from launching a lemonade stand. Even from such a simple venture, they grasped the fundamentals of business and the importance of saving their earnings for future investments at the age of 4 and 6. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic prevented them from selling freshly made lemonade. Nevertheless, this setback didn't deter them. Instead, Blakely and Brooklyn asked themselves, "What else can we do?"

The determination these girls displayed to create a business and save money led to the inception of their jewelry business. Their initial lessons involved learning how to craft their products. Subsequently, they acquired the skills to sell their jewelry within their community. As they established more relationships in their town, Blakely and Brooklyn secured placements for their jewelry in local stores.

Blakely and Brooklyn were able to launch their business through hard work and guidance from Brett and Laura. We hope these remarkable young girls serve as an inspiration, demonstrating that anyone can begin their journey toward financial independence, regardless of their age.
