Force of nature Arrow De Wilde is the singer of Starcrawler, who’ve caused a sensation practically from the moment they burst onto the scene. Her fierce stage presence and a smoky voice that somehow yearns and growls at the same time could fit into almost any genre from 70’s glam to classic rock and jaded , artsy post-punk. An LA native, Arrow is also an artist and model. In this episode, Arrow and hostess Pleasant Gehman talk about Starcrawler’s most insane road stories-including audience members who had to be rushed to the hospital and backstage ghost encounters and achieving altered states on stage. They get into what it was like working with Danny Trejo and David Hasselhoff on set for DC Comics “Dark Nights: Death Metal”, the gentrification of Los Angeles, and Starcrawler’s up coming tour.
