The term "deconstruction" has been tossed around a lot in culture these last few years, and its definition can get a little confusing. When we say deconstruction we are referring to the thought pattern and trends of looking at systems of power and structure, and removing those old ways of thinking.

In culture, we've seen this happen in corporations, education, in our local and federal government and even in spiritual circles. But too often we can completely toss out a product in the name of reform and miss out on the good things that were brought forth in those arenas. Can we deconstruct in a good and healthy way? What would that look like for the Christian who is trying to learn and live in the rapidly changing culture of 2022?

Now, the reality of it all is that deconstruction has been around for longer than we think. It has been giving a bad reputation, but what if it's not all bad? Join us as dive into a conversation with Pastor Matt around deconstruction and his perspective.
