🟢 30 years ago this very month Fergus McCann swept into Celtic Park and secured the clubs very existence with an eleventh hour investment that would alter the course of Celtic’s history for ever.

A move such as that however can’t be engineered by just one man and many figures played a key role in what eventually took place on that day back on the 4th of March 1994.

Brian Dempsey was originally on Celtic's Board in 1990 but his spell was to be short lived before he then took his place amongst the "Rebel Consortium" - A group who fought for, and ultimately gained control of the club. just as it seems time was running out.

Brian was renowned for his skills as an orator and as someone who could capture an audience in seconds.
