This week's special edition of the Brian Taylor Podcast builds upon a special investigation by The Ferret and The Herald into 'Who Runs Scotland'. After it took a deep dive into lobbying revealing hundreds of secret lobbying meetings in 2020 as well as Scotland's professional lobbyists, we speak to two top lobbyists and two journalists. Our lobbyists Andy Maciver and James Mackenzie tell the panel what they believe needs to change for lobbying in Scotland, while Karin Goodwin, co-editor of the Ferret, and The Herald's political correspondent Alistair Grant provide insight into the wider revelations of the investigation.
