This week on The Afro Animist Podcast, we deal with the topics of Toxic Positivity, Victim Blaming and abuse. It's so easy in the spiritual community to slip into states of Toxic Positivity, especially when it's so heavily preached and it can be a wonderful distraction from healing. But when we get to the nitty gritty, it's so important to talk about the negative side of these concepts so that we gain a more nuanced understanding of the Human Experience. Only then will we move towards a society that's actually safe and validating for all .
